THE 470 TOP ENDER, A FISHERMAN’S DREAM
Originally designed for the top end of Australia, Quintrex’s Top Ender models have become a popular fishing favourite Australia wide for their ability to fish open water, estuaries and river systems.
With the Millennium hull, Flared Bow and packed with fishing features how could you walk past this model; The 470 Top Ender has fishing covered.
Quintrex’s award winning Millennium Hull and Flared Bow combination provides the softest, quietest and most importantly driest ride in the aluminium boat world, and is made possible by Quintrex’s unique ability to stretch form aluminium into concave shapes.
National Account Manager Jason Boal says the 470 is the most popular model in the Top Enders range.
“The 470 is such a popular model because of its tournament style layout and deep sides that makes it perfect for remote creeks, estuaries and open bays.”
“With an overall length of 4.96m and a beam of 2.09m, the 470 Top Ender is a tough medium sized boat. The 1.6mm top sides are clinker pressed for added strength, and with 3mm bottom sides this is defiantly a hearty boat,” He said
Featuring all the fishing favourites such as live bait tank, rod holders, skipper fold down seats with multiple seating positions and Mark-5X fishfinder, this model is a fisherman’s dream.
The 470 Top Ender also includes a pole mount insert for those times when you’re a bit sick of fishing and want to try out some water sports instead.
The 470 Top Ender can be optioned with a bimini and envelope, transom step and rail, burley bucket, bow mount thruster plate, two tone paint, bucket seats or even a ski pole.
All Quintrex boats come with a limited 3 year warranty on boat motor and trailer. To find out more about the 470 Top Ender or any of the boats in the Quintrex range visit: www.quintrex.com.au
After years of research, Quintrex has released the Apex Hull design set to revolutionize the boating industry. From humble beginnings in 1945 Quintrex has remained the leader in aluminium boat research and development for over 70 years. True to its name, the Apex Hull offers the pinnacle of boating with years of research and development leading to superior performance on the water – You have never seen a boat quite like this before!
Our blade hull cuts through rough water like a knife with its sharper, sleeker shape and increased deadrise. By releasing spray further aft you get an even drier ride, and if that’s not enough our blade hull has increased hull efficiency by balancing the convex and concave shapes offering lower planning speeds and improved top-end speed!
The concave shape of the flared bow is made possible by our unique ability to stretch form aluminium. The curve of side sheets deflects spray and keeps passengers dry. In rougher conditions such as in breaking seas and solid water the flared bow aids in lift and recovery.
This hull combines the stability of a traditional punt with the handling of a v-shaped hull. Its v-nose design allows the wide beam to be brought forward to the bow. This design allows for all-round stability, aids planning and disperses choppy water.
Our fighter series features a forked shaped bow which not only sees the front deck and casting platform area increased by up to 11% but improves stability at rest – making fishing from the casting platform a breeze. The fighter series is the new face of fishing with more storage and easy installations of electric motors. **
