Tamworth Boat Sales have been awarded the Quintrex National Sales Excellence Award for 2011/2012.
The locally owned family dealership was a standout performer after reporting the best retail sales growth for the year. The award also marks achievements in the areas of presentation, marketing and customer feedback.

Quintrex Account Manager Cameron Wood said the dealership was very deserving of the award because they were actively branching out to new customers and successfully generating new sales.
‘They have taken on a lot of work going out to regional shows and really getting their name out there and meeting new customers, they’ve really taken it to the next level,’ he said.
He said it was quite an achievement for a dealership with only a few years’ experience adding they had a few good years and an even better one this time around.

Dealer Principal Shane said his team had really put in the hard yards this year and the award confirmed it was worth it.
After attending shows such as Shannon’s Motor Show in Tamworth to reach a wider customer base he said ‘You have to get out there in front of people to generate sales and make it happen.’
He said his team had been working hard on creating packages that the customers wanted and really looking after customers so they enjoyed their experience and want to come back.
