New South Wales Quintrex dealer TR Marine World was awarded the coveted 2006 - 2007 Australian Dealer of the Year at the bi-annual Quintrex Conference, held 19 – 23 March, 2007 on the Gold Coast.

TR Marine World Dealer Principal Susan Tricker said winning Quintrex Australian Dealer of the Year was a fantastic achievement.

“Unfortunately Ian and I were overseas when the award was presented at the Quintrex Conference but when we found out TR MarineWorld had won we were ecstatic and incredibly proud of the achievement,” Susan said.

“After the 2006 Quintrex Conference we set winning this award as one of our goals…and we have achieved it! “This award recognises the hard work our team has put in over the last year and now we will strive to take it out for a second year running,” she said.

Quintrex National Sales and Marketing Manager Damien Duncan said TR MarineWorld’s performance was exceptional for the 2006 - 2007 financial year.

“The Quintrex Australian Dealer of the Year has become a highly contested and coveted award,” Damien said.

“TR MarineWorld’s performance was outstanding in every judging criteria and their positive attitude and drive for success made the dealership a very worthy winner,” he said.

The 2006 - 2007 national and state awards were judged on three areas - sales activity, marketing activity and at the dealership and each area included specific criteria such as advertising and promotional activity, website, innovative marketing activity, dealership presentation, stock presentation and workshop facilities.

TR MarineWorld enjoyed further accolades when their Sales Manager, Troy Durham was awarded Quintrex Salesperson of the Year.

The Quintrex Conference also launched the new 2008 Quintrex range with selected models available in Quintrex authorised dealerships from June, 2007.
